Tool 0275 journals scored

Find where your manuscript fits

Not topic vibes. Your real numbers. Enter your article type, word count, figures, and references, and we check them against every journal's published limits: what you are eligible for, what fits, and exactly how far over you are where you are not. Just finished a formatting job? We carry those numbers straight over. We read only the numbers you enter, never your manuscript text.

Describe your manuscript

Only the article type is required. The more numbers you add, the sharper the fit. Leave any you're know blank and we'll skip that check.

Subspecialty (optional, sharpens ordering)

The Finder checks your numbers against each journal's published limits. It never reads or stores your manuscript text. Always confirm against the journal's current Guide for Authors.

How it is scored

Deterministic, and shown in full

1

Eligibility first

A journal that does not accept your article type is not a near miss, it is a no. Those are gated out before anything is scored, and listed separately so you can see why.

2

Then the numbers

Each of your counts is checked against that journal's published limit. Within limit fits. Up to ten percent over is a near miss. Beyond that is over, and we show you the exact delta.

3

No thumb on the scale

OSCRSJ is scored by the same math as every other journal, with no boost. Where a journal publishes no limit, that constraint is neutral rather than a guess.

Before you submit: This tool applies formatting rules encoded from each journal’s published Guide for Authors, verified as of the date shown on every journal card. Journal requirements change without notice. Always confirm your manuscript against the journal’s current Guide for Authors before you submit. Submission Studio is provided by OSCRSJ free of charge on an as-is basis. It does not guarantee acceptance, and it is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of the journals listed.
